Description: The obverse of a ten dollar note (16.1 × 7.8 cm (6.3 × 3.1 in)) issued by the Government of Imperial Japan during the Japanese occupation of Singapore, Malaya, North Borneo, Sarawak, and Brunei in 1942. The currency was informally known as "banana money" because of the banana tree motifs on this note.
