Description: The Coronation of Shah Suleyman, presided over by Sheikholeslam of Isfahan-1666 The nineteen-year-old Sām Mirzā was enthroned under the name Ṣafi II, on 1 Rabiʿ II 1077/1 October 1666, at one o’clock in the afternoon in a ceremony most likely presided over by Moḥammad-Bāqer Sabzavāri, the šayḵ-al-Eslām of Isfahan. The shah’s second enthronement took place on Nowruz, 10 Šawwāl 1078/20 March 1668, at 9 a.m. in the Čehel Sotun palace, in a ceremony presided over by Moḥammad-Bāqer Sabzavāri, the šayḵ-al-Eslām of Isfahan
