Description: The first-ever collected works of the Turkish poet Nâzım Hikmet, published in communist Bulgaria (Nâzım Hikmet. 1967-1972. Bütün eserleri [Collected Works] (8 vols). Sofya [Sofia, Bulgaria]: Narodna Prosveta). The run of Volume 1 was 17,000 copies, and the run of Volume 8 was 5,000 copies, which reflected the growing suppression of communist Bulgaria's Turkish minority.
