Description: The old curing works at Great Yarmouth, near to Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, Great Britain. The towns curing works were curing herring until 1989, the site became derelict until 2002 when the Lottery fund and other sources funded the Time and Tide museum. Telling the story of Herring in Yarmouth, it has won many awards and is well worth a visit.
