Description: This basalt stone is incised with a scene showing two animals, probably gazelles. One appears to be suckling from the other one. The stone was found in a circular wall, which formed a structure used either as a trap by the hunters to catch wild animals or as a safe place where farmers could protect their domesticated herds. From Dhuweila, eastern Jordan, c. 6200 BCE. British Museum.
