Description: Ticklepenny Lock. Former lock on the disused Louth Canal, named after the Ticklepenny family who were smallholders and lock-keepers and lived in a house close by. Many of the family are buried in St.Margaret's churchyard 1199773 though the spelling on the headstones is slightly different
