Description: Hedon Town Hall, Hedon, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Hedon, which is east of Hull, is reputed to be the smallest town in England and only has a population of approximately 8,000 people. It has an elected mayor (but not Lord Mayor) which gives it town status. Cottingham, on the other hand, which is situated west of Hull, is reputed to be the biggest village in England. It has a population of about 17,250.
