Description: The Roman Catholic Church of the Transfiguration at 25 Mott Street between Mosco and Pell Streets in the Chinatown neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, was built in 1801 as the Zion English Lutheran Church later the Zion Protestant Episcopal Church, and was designed in the Georgian style. It was sold in 1853 to the Roman Catholic Church of the Immigrants, which later changed its name to the Church of the Transfiguration.
