Description: Pacific canoe prow. This bow is a frigate bird. It is secured with ligatures to the front of the canoe. It has a protective function. Its acquisition is inserted into a secondary ritual "maki" (grades hierarchy). Population : Vao Island (Malekula) in Vanuatu. Size : 80 x 13 x 16 cm Multiple views of the same object.
