Image: Very ripe, dehydrated grapes

Description: Wine grapes in early September in Amador County, California. This grapes (most likely Zinfandel) from this warm climate wine region are very ripe with woody brown stems. The grapes are so ripe that the moisture in some of the grapes are dehydrating which causes them to shrivel like raisins.
