Description: Submarine karst spring, emerging fresh water in the Adriatic Sea. "Vrulja Bay", South Croatia. 4,5km N of Brela, half way between Omiš and Makarska. Submarine, because the sea's water level rose by ca. 120 m since late Pleistocene (last glacial period, 25ka) and karstification of the Biokovo mountains continues to an even lower level.
