Description: All the photographs by Capt Hurley were taken in 1935 for the 1936 Centenary Year. Note GN05620 - New Parliament House not built. (G Brooks) Hurley's car was a 1935 model Vauxhall. (G Brooks) This windmill was connected to the five-million gallon (about 22-megalitre) railway dam that supplied water for steam locomotives at Beltana. A stone wall was built across Graham's Creek in Beltana to divert water.
