In a Heartbeat is a TV show from Canada and the United States. It's about a group of high school students who are also volunteer EMTs. EMTs are like paramedics who help people in emergencies. The show is based on real-life teenage EMT teams in places like Darien, Connecticut. It follows these teens as they balance school, friendships, and saving lives. You could watch it on Family Channel in Canada and Disney Channel in the United States.

  • Hank Beecham (Danso Gordon) is a football player. He's also an EMT-Intermediate, which means he has advanced training. He manages to do both sports and save lives!

  • Tyler Connell (Shawn Ashmore) is Hank's best friend and also plays football. He's another important member of the EMT squad.
  • Jamie Waite (Christopher Ralph) is the newest member. He joins the team as part of a program to help troubled teens. He learns a lot about helping others and himself.

  • Brooke Lanier (Lauren Collins) is Val's younger sister, only twelve years old. She helps the squad after school by managing all the paperwork.
  • Caitie Roth (Jackie Rosenbaum) is Val's best friend. She's known for her unique style, often wearing dark clothes and having purple streaks in her hair.
