Isa TK+ (which means "Isa I Love You More") is the second season of the popular TV show Isa TKM. This show was made by Nickelodeon Latin America along with Sony Pictures Television and Teleset from Colombia.
Filming for Isa TK+ started in July 2009. The show first aired on September 28, 2009, in Latin America. Later, it came to Brazil on April 5, 2010.
Filming the Show
Filming for Isa TK+ began in the middle of July 2009. Most of the show was recorded in Barranquilla and Bogotá, which are cities in Colombia.
However, some early scenes with the actress Milena Torres (who plays Cristina Ricalde) were filmed in Venezuela. This was because she couldn't travel to Colombia right away. She later joined the cast in Colombia for her special appearances.
The creators planned to make many episodes. They used the Teresiano school's coliseum in Bogotá for scenes where Isa and her band performed concerts and had parties.
What the Story is About
After the first season of Isa TKM, Isabella "Isa" Pasqualli and her band became very famous. Isa signed a contract with "Zafiro Label." This contract sent her to a special school called Colegio Bravo. This school is for young artists to help them improve their music skills.
Isa's best friend, Linda Luna, also got a scholarship to Colegio Bravo. She went there to follow her dream of becoming a ballerina.
A few days later, Isa's boyfriend, Alejandro "Alex" Ruiz, and Linda's boyfriend, Reinaldo "Rey" Galán, also joined the school. Alex wanted to become a guitarist, and Rey wanted to be an actor.
But even though they were all together, things weren't easy. A tricky girl named Catalina Bernabeu pretended to be sweet. She worked with her friend, Jessica "Jess" Chen, to cause trouble. Catalina wanted to ruin Isa's career, win Alex's attention, and get Linda kicked out of school.
Meanwhile, Sebastian Lorenzo tried hard to win Isa's heart. Rey and Linda also faced problems because of new classmates. Sandra Centeno liked Rey, and Javier "Javi" Mooner liked Linda.
The school principal, Violeta Marindo, was a strict woman. She didn't like Isa and her friends. She tried everything to get them in trouble. Also, Cristina Ricalde, the main bad guy from the first series, came back many times to get revenge on Isa and her friends.
Main Characters
- Isabella "Isa" Pasquali: Isa is a kind and happy 18-year-old girl. She has a beautiful voice and charms everyone. She is now very famous. Her music company sends her to Colegio Bravo to continue her studies and follow her dreams with Alex.
- Alejandro "Alex" Ruiz: Alex is Isa's boyfriend and deeply in love with her. He loves music and is kind to others. Sebastian becomes his rival because he tries to get Isa's attention. Alex also finds out that Catalina likes him.
- Linda "Gordilinda" Luna: Linda is Isa's best friend. She is funny, sensitive, and very loyal. She gets a scholarship to Colegio Bravo for her amazing dancing skills. She works part-time to help pay for her studies. She is Rey's girlfriend, but a student named Javier shows interest in her.
- Reinaldo "Rey" Galán: Rey is still a bit self-centered. He joins the academy because his grandmother gave him money. He wants to be an actor. He is Linda's boyfriend, but he meets Sandra, who makes him question his relationship with Linda.
- Catalina "Cataclismica" Bernabeu: Catalina pretends to be sweet and kind, but she is actually mean and tricky. She tries to trick Isa without anyone noticing. She wants to be a famous singer, but her voice isn't perfect. She often tries to ruin Isa's career.
- Sebastián "Sebas" Lorenzo: Sebas is one of the most popular boys at Colegio Bravo. His father is a powerful music producer. Sebas becomes Alex's rival and falls in love with Isa soon after she arrives.
- Cristina "Cristarantula" Ricalde: Cristina is Principal Violeta's niece and the main villain from the first series. She is spoiled and used to getting her way. After losing her money, she became a top model and got rich again. She comes to Colegio Bravo to try and ruin Isa's life.
- Violeta Marindo "La Tamarindo": She is the strict principal of Colegio Bravo. She doesn't like fun or creativity, so she dislikes Isa and her friends. She often mispronounces people's names.
- Enrique "Kike" Toro: Kike is Alex's roommate and new best friend. He is smart and funny, but he tends to over-analyze everything. He also has some unusual habits.
- Natalia "Naty" Tarazona: Naty is Isa's roommate and a talented keyboard player. She is nice but can be very focused on Sebas, who is her friend and crush. She competes with Fabi for Sebas's attention.
- Jessica Chen "Jess": Jess is Catalina's roommate and friend. She loves gossip and knows everyone's secrets at Bravo. She helps Catalina with her plans, even if it means getting into trouble.
- Javier "Javi" Mooner: Javi is one of Alex's new friends and Rey's rival. He is very energetic and always dancing. He really likes Linda and tries to get her and Rey to break up.
- Sandra "Sandijuela" Centeno: Sandra is Rey's classmate in acting. She is cute and a bit clumsy, with a unique fashion sense. She likes Rey but respects that he has a girlfriend. She hopes he will fall for her.
- Fabiana "Fabi" Medina: Fabi is one of Isa's roommates and Sebas's friend. She is pretty but doesn't have a specific talent. She can sometimes be childish. Like Naty, Fabi is in love with Sebas and uses her lack of talent to spend time with him.
- Agata "Monteblack" Montenegro: Agata is Violeta's helper and the hall monitor for the girls' dorm. She seems serious but is actually a sweet girl. Violeta trained her to be her successor. However, her new friendships and relationship with Kike make her rethink her path.
- Alvaro Lorenzo: Alvaro is Sebas's father and owns a powerful music company. He is a tricky man who only cares about himself. He wants Sebas to get Isa to sign with his company instead of Zafiro.
- Andy Roca: Andy is the creative principal of Colegio Bravo. He is a good and caring man who looks out for his students. He often disagrees with Violeta and stops her plans to get rid of Isa and her friends.
- Abelardo Flores: Abelardo is the school's janitor and handyman. He is a good friend to Isa and Alex. He lives at the school with his family and often helps students with their problems.
