Winning Junior MasterChef
Isabella joined the first season of Junior MasterChef Australia. Her fraternal twin sister, Sofia, also competed in the show. Isabella reached the final rounds of the competition.
In the exciting final, Isabella competed against another talented young cook, Jack Lark. Isabella won the competition with a score of 97 points, while Jack scored 94. As the winner, Isabella received a special MasterChef trophy. She also won $15,000 as a prize. Jack Lark, who came in second place, received $10,000. Isabella's sister Sofia and fellow contestant Siena Johnston each received $5,000 for placing third and fourth.
Life After MasterChef
Isabella and her twin sister Sofia have big dreams for the future. They hope to open their own restaurant together one day. They plan to use the prize money from Junior MasterChef Australia to help start their business. They even have a name in mind for their restaurant: Is-Sofia.
The twins also wrote a cookbook. It is called A little bit of this, a little bit of that. This book was published in 2011.
In 2011, Isabella and Sofia worked with "Cupcake for A Cure." This is a charity that helps children with cancer. They also got to create a special dessert. It was inspired by the famous TV host, Oprah Winfrey. They called their dessert Oprah Gold. It was made with chocolate and had a wild Hibiscus flower surprise.
In November 2013, Isabella was recognized as one of YWCA Queensland's "125 Leading Women." This honor celebrates women who are leaders in their communities.
Isabella finished high school, completing Year 12. In 2016, she started studying at the University of Queensland. Her sister Sofia decided to take a year off from university. Sofia is currently working.
