Isabelle Therese Gulldén (born on June 29, 1989) is a Swedish professional handball player. She currently plays for Lugi HF. She used to be a key player for the Swedish National Team.

Isabelle Gulldén has had an amazing career in handball. She has played for many top clubs and represented her country.
Playing for Sweden
Isabelle played for the Swedish team in the Summer Olympic Games three times. She competed in 2008, 2012, and 2016.
In 2014, a big Swedish newspaper called Dagens Nyheter made a list. It named Isabelle as one of the 150 greatest Swedish athletes ever! She was the only female handball player on the list, alongside the famous Mia Hermansson-Högdahl.
Special Recognition
In 2016, Isabelle received a special award. She was named an Honorary Citizen of the city of Bucharest in Romania. This is a big honor given to people who have done something great for the city.
Isabelle stopped playing for the national team on December 15, 2020.

Isabelle comes from a family of athletes. Her uncle, Christer Gulldén, is a famous Swedish Greco-Roman wrestler. Her father, Peter, also competed in wrestling.
Isabelle is married to Linus Persson, who used to be a handball goalkeeper. They have a son named Lias, who was born on July 10, 2019.
