Representing Estonia at Eurovision
Ivo Linna had the honor of representing Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 1996. This big music competition brings together singers from many different countries. He performed alongside another singer, Maarja Liis Ilus.
Their song was called "Kaelakee Hääl", which means "The Sound of a Necklace". The contest took place in Oslo, Norway. Ivo and Maarja Liis did very well, finishing in 5th place out of all the countries competing.

Eesti Laul is a music competition in Estonia that chooses the country's song for Eurovision. Ivo Linna has taken part in this contest several times.
In Eesti Laul 2017, he sang a song called "Suur Loterii" (Big Lottery). His song won its semi-final round, showing how popular it was. In the final round, it placed fifth among ten songs.
Later, in Eesti Laul 2021, Ivo Linna competed again. This time, he performed with his son, Robert Linna, and a band called Supernova. Their song was "Ma Olen Siin", which means "I'm Here". The song finished in eleventh place in the final competition.
