Iñaki Ábalos (born in Donostia, Spain, in 1956) is a well-known Spanish architect and writer. He is famous for designing buildings and for teaching about architecture.

Iñaki Ábalos studied at the Superior Technical School of Architecture of Madrid. He later became a professor at many famous universities. From 2013 to 2016, he was a Professor and led the Architecture Department at Harvard University. He also taught at other top schools like Columbia University, the Architectural Association, Princeton University, and Cornell University.

Iñaki Ábalos has designed many interesting buildings. He once said that his favorite building he designed is the Woermann Tower. This tall building is located in Las Palmas, a city in Spain. He also admires other architects like Kazuyo Sejima and Jacques Herzog.
