Júlia Melo Gomes (born on March 10, 2002) is a talented Brazilian singer and actress. She became famous across Brazil after winning the second season of the TV talent show Qual é o Seu Talento?.
Júlia Gomes's Big Win
Júlia Gomes first tried out for Qual é o Seu Talento? in late 2009. She moved on to the São Paulo Round. There, she sang "Carinhoso" by Marisa Monte. After that, she made it to the semi-finals. For this round, she sang "Ben" by Michael Jackson.
During the finals, Júlia performed "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston. All the judges loved her performance. They said her version of the song was beautiful. They also felt she was better than the other contestants. This included Laura Fontana, who was known as the "Baby Lady Gaga."
In the end, Júlia was announced as the winner! Lyrical singer Danillu and acrobatic gymnastics group Guaru ESD were the runners-up.

After the Show
After winning Qual é o Seu Talento?, Júlia appeared on many shows for SBT. She won R$200,000 as a prize. Júlia planned to use this money for a trip to Disney World. She also wanted to buy a piano and invest in her singing career.
