Jacques Guy Cheminade (born 20 August 1941) is a French politician and activist. He used to be a diplomat. He leads a political party in France called Solidarity and Progress (SP). This party is part of a bigger international group known as the LaRouche movement. Cheminade has run for President of France three times: in 1995, 2012, and 2017. Each time, he finished last in the election.

Education and Learning
Cheminade went to some important schools in France. He studied at HEC Paris, which is a famous business school. He also went to law school. Then, he attended the École nationale d'administration, often called ENA. This school trains people to work in high-level jobs for the French government.
Working for the Government
After his education, Cheminade became a civil servant. This means he worked for the government. He was an officer in a department that dealt with France's economic relationships with other countries. This job was part of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry. He held this position until 1981.
