Jaime Alas's Club Journey
Starting His Professional Career
Jaime Alas began his football journey in July 2006. He was just 16 years old when he signed with San Salvador, a club in his home country. Soon after, he moved to Argentina. There, he played for the reserve team of River Plate. He stayed with River Plate for four years.
Playing in El Salvador and Norway
In 2010, Jaime returned to El Salvador. He joined the club Luis Ángel Firpo. On June 29, 2012, Jaime signed a three-year contract with Rosenborg. This club is from Norway. He started playing for them on August 1, 2012. His first game for Rosenborg was in a Europa League Qualification match. They played against Servette.
Moving to Other Leagues
Jaime played only seven matches for Rosenborg. In July 2013, he moved to the San Jose Earthquakes in the United States. This was a loan deal that lasted until December. After his loan ended, he joined Ballenas Galeana in Mexico. In May 2014, he moved back to El Salvador. He joined the club FAS.

Early International Matches
Jaime Alas first played for the El Salvador national team in October 2010. This was a friendly match against Panama. He was chosen by coach José Luis Rugamas to train with the team. This was to get ready for the 2011 Central American Cup in January 2010.
Scoring Goals for El Salvador
Jaime played in the 2011 Copa Centroamericana. He scored his first goal for El Salvador on January 14, 2011. This goal was against the Nicaragua national football team. He also played in the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup. On March 26, 2012, he scored a very important goal. It was in the last minutes of the game against the United States. This goal helped El Salvador reach the semi-finals of the 2012 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
