James Rolleston (born June 8, 1997) is a talented actor from New Zealand. He is well-known for his roles in movies like Boy and The Dark Horse. The Dark Horse first showed at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival in September 2014.

Acting Career
James Rolleston first appeared on screen in the 2010 film Boy. This movie was directed by Taika Waititi. James played the main character, a child who looks up to his father. Boy became a very successful New Zealand film.
In 2014, James acted in two more movies. He co-starred with Cliff Curtis in the drama The Dark Horse. In this film, he played a teenager named Mana. He also appeared in the action movie The Dead Lands. Here, he played Hongi, a young Maori warrior. Hongi seeks revenge for his family's massacre.
James also starred in Pork Pie in 2017. This movie was a new version of a classic New Zealand film called Goodbye Pork Pie. Besides movies, James has often appeared in TV commercials for Vodafone New Zealand.
