On July 12, 2019, Jan Hurtado joined Boca Juniors, a famous football club in Argentina. He moved from another club called Gimnasia y Esgrima. Boca Juniors paid about US$5 million to get him, which is a lot of money for a player!
Loan to Red Bull Bragantino
Later, on August 10, 2020, Jan Hurtado went to play for Red Bull Bragantino in Brazil. This was a "loan deal," which means he played for them for a set time, but his main club was still Boca Juniors. He stayed with Red Bull Bragantino until July 2022.
