Jan Versteegh (born 31 December 1985) is a Dutch television presenter and singer. He is well-known for hosting various TV shows. These include Proefkonijnen and Muscles & Brains. He also hosts the reality game show De Bondgenoten. Many people know him from the TV series Wie is de Mol?.

Jan Versteegh's TV Journey
Jan Versteegh started his career in television in 2012. He first worked as a reporter for a show called PowNews. In early 2014, he joined the broadcaster BNN.
Hosting Popular Shows
At BNN, Jan hosted many different television programs. One of these was Proefkonijnen. This was a science show where presenters answered questions from viewers. He hosted Proefkonijnen with Geraldine Kemper. Later, he also presented shows like 6 Inside, Lingo, and Echt Waar?!.
Competing on Television
Jan Versteegh has also been a contestant on several reality and game shows. In 2013, he took part in Expeditie Robinson 2013. He also competed in De Slimste Mens in 2014. In 2016, he was on It Takes 2 and Weet Ik Veel. He won his season of It Takes 2. In 2017, he appeared on The Big Music Quiz.

In 2018, Jan played a special role in Wie is de Mol?. He was the "mole" in the 18th season of this popular show. The mole secretly tries to sabotage the group's tasks. In 2019, he was a team captain on Mars versus Venus. This was a quiz show about differences between men and women. Jan led the male team, and Leonie ter Braak led the female team.

Jan Versteegh began working for Talpa in January 2019. He continues to work with them. He renewed his contract for two more years in January 2024.

In 2022, Jan appeared in two films. He was in Hart op de juiste plek and De Grote Sinterklaasfilm: Gespuis in de Speelgoedkluis. Since 2023, he has been the presenter of the reality game show De Bondgenoten. In 2024, Jan presented the reality TV series Muscles & Brains. In this show, twelve people compete in challenges that test both their strength and their intelligence.
Personal Life
Jan Versteegh is an ambassador for the Ronald McDonald Kinderfonds. This organization helps families with sick children.
