Jascha Akili Washington, born on June 21, 1989, is an American who used to be an actor and songwriter. He is well-known for his roles in popular movies. These include Big Momma's House (2000), its sequel Big Momma's House 2 (2006), and Like Mike 2: Streetball (2006).

Jascha Washington was born in Kings County, California. He started his acting career on television in 1997. His first TV appearance was in an episode of the series Brooklyn South.

Early Acting Roles

A year later, in 1998, Jascha appeared in his first movie. He played Eric, the son of Will Smith's character, in the film Enemy of the State. He also had a role as a younger brother in The Wood (1999).

Famous Movie Roles

Jascha Washington is perhaps most recognized for playing Trent Pierce. This character was in the comedy movie Big Momma's House (2000). He also had a small role in the sequel, Big Momma's House 2 (2006). Another well-known role was Jerome in the movie Like Mike 2: Streetball (2006).

Television Appearances

Besides movies, Jascha also appeared in many TV shows. He was in an episode of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody as a character named Drew. He also played Eli, Dr. Gideon's son, in the series Gideon's Crossing. Jascha guest-starred on The Bernie Mac Show and House M.D. in 2007. His last known acting role was Kendall in the movie Frenemies.

Life After Acting

Jascha Washington stopped acting around 2012. He did not appear in the third Big Momma's House movie, Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son. Since then, he has focused on his family. He welcomed a baby girl in August 2013. His second child, a boy, was born in March 2015. In January 2017, his third child, another boy, was born.
