Gianfranco Randone (born January 5, 1970), known by his stage name Jeffrey Jey, is a talented Italian musician and singer. He is most famous for being the lead singer of the popular music group Eiffel 65. You might know them from their hit songs! Jeffrey Jey has been making music for many years, starting in the early 1990s.
Jeffrey Jey's family moved from Sicily, Italy, to Brooklyn, New York, in 1972. He spent twelve years growing up in New York City. His father was also a musician, and being surrounded by music in New York really inspired Jeffrey. This is how he became interested in becoming a musician himself. He speaks both English and Italian very well.
Before joining Eiffel 65, Jeffrey Jey was the lead singer for a group called Bliss Team from 1992 to 1997. He then became the lead vocalist for Eiffel 65 from 1997 to 2005. After that, he was the lead singer for Bloom 06 from 2005 to 2010.
Eiffel 65 got back together in June 2010. Since then, Jeffrey Jey has been touring Italy and other parts of Europe with the band. Besides singing, he also plays several instruments. He can play the bass guitar, electric guitar, drums, and keyboards.
