Gianfranco Randone (born January 5, 1970), known by his stage name Jeffrey Jey, is an Italian-American musician and singer. He is best known as the lead singer of the famous music group Eiffel 65. You might know them from their big hit song "Blue (Da Ba Dee)".
Jeffrey Jey has been making music for many years. He was also the lead singer for other groups like Bliss Team and Bloom 06. Besides singing, Jeffrey Jey is a talented musician who plays many instruments. He can play the bass guitar, electric guitar, drums, and keyboards.
Early Life and Music Journey
Jeffrey Jey's family moved from Sicily, Italy, to Brooklyn, New York, in 1972. He spent twelve years growing up in New York City. In 1984, his family moved back to Italy.
His father was also a musician. Being around music in New York and having a musician father helped Jeffrey become very interested in music. He learned to speak both English and Italian fluently. This skill has been very helpful in his music career.
Jeffrey Jey started his music journey in 1992 with the group Bliss Team. Later, in 1997, he became the lead singer of Eiffel 65. After Eiffel 65, he was part of Bloom 06. In 2010, Eiffel 65 got back together. Since then, Jeffrey Jey has been touring and performing with the band in Italy and other parts of Europe.
