Jenő Buzánszky (born May 4, 1925 – died January 11, 2015) was a famous Hungarian football player and coach. He played as a right back for the Hungarian national team. During the 1950s, he was a key part of the amazing Hungarian team known as the Mighty Magyars. This team was one of the best in the world.

Jenő Buzánszky was born in Újdombóvár, Hungary. He started playing football at a young age. He became known for his strong defense on the field. He was a very important player for his team.
Early Days and Club Play
Buzánszky began his youth career in 1941 with Dombóvári Vasutas. He played there until 1946. After that, he joined Pécsi VSK for a short time. Most of his club career was spent with Dorogi FC. He played 274 league games for Dorogi FC from 1947 to 1960. He was a loyal player for his club.
What made him special was that he was the only member of the Mighty Magyars who did not play for either Honvéd or MTK Hungária FC. These were two of Hungary's biggest clubs at the time.
The Mighty Magyars Era
Jenő Buzánszky was a vital part of the legendary Hungarian national team. This team was called the Mighty Magyars. They were famous for their incredible skills and teamwork. He played as a right back, helping to defend their goal.
The Mighty Magyars achieved great success in the 1950s. They won the gold medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. They also reached the final of the 1954 FIFA World Cup in Switzerland. Buzánszky played in 48 international matches for Hungary. He was a strong and reliable defender for the team.
Life After Playing
After a long and successful playing career, Jenő Buzánszky retired as a player in 1960. He then became a football coach. He coached several teams, including his former club, Dorogi AC, at different times. He also coached Esztergomi Vasas and Fősped Szállitók.
