How the Band Started
The members of Jericho Road first met at Brigham Young University. They were all performing in a group called The Young Ambassadors. While performing together, they became good friends. They all wanted to use their talents to entertain people and inspire them. Because of this shared goal, they decided to form a new music group called Jericho Road.
Early Success and Growth
When Abe Mills, Bret Bryce, Dave Kimball, and Justin Smith formed Jericho Road in August 2001, they quickly became popular. Their first album, also called Jericho Road, sold over 10,000 copies in its first week. This was a record for their music label, Shadow Mountain. Since then, they have sold nearly 150,000 copies of their music. The band continues to share their songs and beliefs with fans around the world.
Jericho Road has worked with many talented songwriters and musicians. These include Christian artists like Steve Siler, Lowell Alexander, and Scott Krippayne.

Special Events and Tours
In the fall of 2003, Jericho Road had a special chance to sing. They sang the National Anthem at the 100th anniversary of the first World Series. This event took place at Dodgertown Sports & Conference Center in Vero Beach, Florida. They were even able to play in some of the baseball games!
From 2005 to 2007, the group became even more famous internationally. They completed two tours in the United Kingdom and Ireland. They also had a sold-out tour in Chile. They performed in Florida, Washington, Oregon, and California during this time.
Jericho Road also toured Japan from February 15 to 25, 2007. They visited seven cities, including Okinawa, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, and Sendai.
