Jermaine Leong (born 19 December 1998) is a talented singer and actress from Singapore. She became famous after winning the second season of a singing competition called The Final 1 in 2015. After her big win, she joined Hype Records, a music company that helps manage her career.

Jermaine Leong's Journey in Entertainment
Jermaine started her journey in entertainment at a young age. She was a child actor in a Chinese TV show called Housewives' Holiday in 2009. This show was shown on Mediacorp Channel 8 in Singapore.
In 2010, she joined a TV series on okto called Dream School 1 and 2. This show was special because it included lots of singing and dancing.
A few years later, in 2012, Jermaine was chosen for a very important role. She sang the theme song for the Singapore Youth Festival 2012, which was called "Live Our Story".
In 2018, Jermaine got a main role in a TV show called FAM! on Mediacorp Channel 5. She acted alongside well-known stars like Gurmit Singh and Vernetta Lopez.
Becoming a Star: The Final 1 Competition
In 2015, Jermaine decided to try out for The Final 1, a popular singing competition. She sang Bruno Mars' song It Will Rain for her audition. The judges were impressed, and she made it to the next round as one of the top 24 contestants.
During the Top 24 round, Jermaine performed two songs. She sang Steal My Girl with her group and then performed Blank Space as a solo. Her performances helped her move forward in the competition.
She continued to impress the judges and audience. In the Top 16 round, she sang Lay Me Down and made it to the finals. As a finalist, she sang A Sky Full of Stars with the other top 10 contestants and Almost Is Never Enough by herself.
Jermaine made it to the final three contestants, all of whom were female singers. On October 4, she had an amazing chance to sing a duet with Jessica Sanchez, who was a runner-up on the famous American singing show, American Idol. On the same night, Jermaine also sang her winning song, "Shine," which was written by Ken Lim.
At the very end of the competition, Jermaine Leong was announced as the winner of The Final 1!
Jermaine's Life Outside of Music
Jermaine Leong was born in Singapore on December 19, 1998. She attended CHIJ Our Lady of the Nativity and CHIJ Saint Joseph's Convent for her schooling. Later, she studied at Temasek Polytechnic, where she earned a Diploma in Communications & Media Management.
Jermaine also sings contemporary worship music at the New Creation Church.
