Jhon Eduard Murillo Romaña, born on November 21, 1995, is a talented Venezuelan football player. He plays as a winger, which means he runs along the sides of the field to help score goals. Currently, he plays for América de Cali. Jhon also proudly represents his home country, Venezuela, on their national football team.

Jhon Murillo's Club Journey
Jhon Murillo was born in El Nula, Venezuela. He started playing football at a young age. His first teams were Fundación Atlético San Camilo FC and Unión Atlético Alto Apure. In 2012, he played in the Venezuelan Tercera División, which is a lower league in Venezuela.
Starting His Professional Career
Jhon made his first big league appearance in the Venezuelan Primera División on October 22, 2012. This was a very exciting moment for him. He scored his first goal in this league on August 19, 2013, showing his skill early on.
Moving to Europe
On May 20, 2015, Zamora FC, his club at the time, announced that Jhon was moving to Portugal. He joined Benfica, a very famous Portuguese team, with a five-year contract.
After joining Benfica, Jhon was loaned out to other teams to gain more experience.
- On July 16, 2015, he joined C.D. Tondela in Portugal's top league, the Primeira Liga, for one year.
- He stayed with Tondela for another season in 2016.
- Later, he was loaned to Kasımpaşa in Turkey for a season.
In January 2024, Jhon joined Atlas on loan from Atlético San Luis. He continues to play for América de Cali as of 2025.

Youth Teams
In 2014, Jhon helped the Venezuela under-21 team win a silver medal at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Mexico. He scored two important goals in that tournament, including one in the semi-final against Honduras.
In 2015, he played for the Venezuela under-20 team in the 2015 South American Youth Football Championship.
Playing for the Senior Team
Jhon made his debut for the senior Venezuela national team on February 11, 2015. This was in a friendly match against Honduras. He scored the winning goal in that game, helping Venezuela win 2-1. It was a fantastic start to his international career!
