Joan Vizcarra Carreras, born in 1967 in Montblanc, Tarragona, is a famous Spanish cartoonist. He is well-known for his funny drawings, especially caricatures of famous people. Many of his works have been published in El Jueves, a popular Spanish magazine that uses humor to talk about current events.

When he was young, Joan Vizcarra loved music, especially rock and roll from artists like Elvis Presley. However, he soon discovered his passion for painting. In 1985, he moved to Barcelona to study art at the University of Barcelona. There, he found he had a special talent for drawing caricatures. Caricatures are drawings that exaggerate someone's features in a funny way.

Since 1991, Vizcarra has worked for El Jueves, which is one of Spain's most important humor magazines. He has also drawn for other newspapers like El Periódico de Catalunya and Avui. In 1995, he started drawing weekly for El Periódico de Catalunya. Later, he also contributed to a special section of El Mundo newspaper. In 1997, he was even named a Professor of Humor by the University of Alcalá de Henares.
