Joe Allen, born on July 19, 1960, is an American writer. He is known as an author, journalist, and historian. He has written several books. One of his books, People Wasn't Made to Burn, tells a true story about important events in Chicago's history. His most recent book is The Package King, which explores the history of United Parcel Service (UPS).
Early Life and Education
Joe Allen grew up in Stoughton, Massachusetts. He was born to Beverly Ann Vigneaux and William Henry Allen. He also has three sisters.
He finished Stoughton High School in 1978. After high school, he went to the University of Massachusetts Boston. He studied there from 1978 to 1983.
