Discover the John Deere Pavilion

The John Deere Pavilion first opened its doors in 1997. It was part of a big project to make the area look new and exciting. This area used to be where the John Deere Plow Works factory was, way back in 1848. Today, the neighborhood around the Pavilion is very lively. It includes a sports arena, a hotel, and many places to eat.

What You Can See and Do

Since it opened, over 150,000 people visit the Pavilion every year. It's one of the most popular attractions in the region. The best part is, it's completely free to enter! There are lots of activities for everyone, no matter your age.

Inside, you can explore many different types of equipment. You'll see old tractors like the model LA and the 4010 cutaway tractor from 1960. There's also a model D tractor, an All-Wheel Drive tractor from 1918, and a model 55 combine from 1949. You can also see brand new equipment both inside and right outside the building.

Interactive Fun for Everyone

One of the coolest parts of the Pavilion is an interactive exhibit called "For Generations." This exhibit shows how John Deere customers around the world use their equipment and technology. You can get hands-on with the displays. There are both new and old machines that you can climb into and explore. It's a great way to learn about farming and construction in a fun way.
