Sir John Guildesborough or Gildesburgh (c. 1331 – 1389) was an important person in English politics during the 1300s. He was a Knight of the Shire for Essex, which meant he represented his county in the English Parliament. He also served as the Speaker of the House of Commons of England in 1380. He became a knight on August 14, 1378.
Sir John was born around 1331. He studied at Oxford University. He was chosen to represent Essex in Parliament five times between 1380 and 1388. He was also elected as the Speaker of the House for both Parliament sessions held in 1380.
