Early Life and Education
Johnny Ray Gill grew up in Portland, Oregon. He finished high school at Jefferson High School in 2002. After high school, he went to the University of Southern California for a year.
He then moved to Temple University where he earned his bachelor's degree in theater. Later, he continued his studies at the University of California, San Diego. There, he received his Master of Fine Arts degree in acting.
