Jonathan Richard Pryor is a well-known New Zealand radio and television star. He is most famous for being the co-host of the TV show Jono and Ben. Jono has worked on popular radio stations and hosted several fun TV shows.
Jono's Career in Radio
Jono Pryor worked at The Rock radio station for more than 15 years. He was a familiar voice to many listeners. In 2017, he moved to The Edge radio station. There, he started co-hosting The Edge Afternoons. He worked alongside his friends Ben Boyce and Sharyn Casey.
Jono and Ben Boyce now host a breakfast show on The Hits radio station. This means they wake up early to entertain listeners.
Jono's Career in Television
Jono Pryor first appeared on TV on the channel C4. He starred in shows like Amped and The Jono Project. These shows helped him become a popular TV personality.
In 2012, Jono started co-hosting Jono and Ben at Ten on Three TV channel. He hosted this show with his friend Ben Boyce. The show was very popular and moved to an earlier time slot in 2015. It was then called simply Jono and Ben. The show aired at 7:30 pm, which is prime time for TV. Jono and Ben finished at the end of 2018.
