José Luis Cuciuffo (born February 1, 1961 – died December 11, 2004) was a talented Argentine football player. He played as a defender, often in the center of the defense. He is best known for being a key part of the Argentina national team that won the 1986 FIFA World Cup.

Playing for Clubs

José Luis Cuciuffo played for several football clubs during his career. He started his professional journey at Chaco For Ever. Later, he joined Talleres de Córdoba.

He then moved to Vélez Sársfield, where he played for five years. After that, he became a player for Boca Juniors, one of Argentina's biggest clubs.

Cuciuffo also played football in France. He was part of the Nîmes Olympique team in the French league. He finished his career back in Argentina with Belgrano de Córdoba.

International Career with Argentina

José Luis Cuciuffo was an important player for the Argentina national football team. He played for his country between 1985 and 1989.
