Juárez is a town and a municipality located in the southern part of Mexico. It is part of the state of Chiapas.

Population and Size
As of 2010, the entire municipality of Juárez had a total population of 21,084 people. This was an increase from 19,956 people in 2005. The municipality covers an area of about 161.5 square kilometers.
The town of Juárez itself had a population of 7,286 people in 2010. Besides the main town, the municipality has 49 smaller communities. Some of the larger ones include Nuevo Volcán Chichonal with 1,162 people and El Triunfo 1ra. Sección (Cardona) with 1,141 people, both in rural areas.
