Juan Claros Pérez de Guzmán y Fernández de Córdoba, the 11th Duke of Medina Sidonia, was an important Spanish nobleman. He was born in 1642 and passed away in 1713. He became the Duke of Medina Sidonia in 1667 after his half-brother, Gaspar Juan Pérez de Guzmán, the 10th Duke, died.

First Marriage
Around 1670, he married Antonia Teresa Pimentel. She was born in 1646 and was the daughter of the 8th Duke of Benavente. Antonia had been married twice before. Her first husband, Andrea Fabrizio Pigntelli d´Aragona, was a Prince and Duke who died in battle in 1677. Her second husband was Jaime Francisco Víctor Fernández de Híjar, the 5th Duke of Híjar. He held important positions at the Spanish court, serving as a chief steward to King Charles II and later as master of the horse to King Philip V.
Second Marriage
Later, the Duke married for a second time to Mariana Núñez Felipez de Guzmán y Velez. She was the 3rd Duchess of Medina de las Torres. Mariana's father, Ramiro, had been a Viceroy of Naples, which meant he governed Naples on behalf of the Spanish king.
