Juan García de Salazar (born February 12, 1639, died July 8, 1710) was a Spanish composer. He lived during the Baroque period, a time when music was often grand and dramatic. Salazar is mostly known for his music written for choirs, especially pieces that followed an older, traditional style called stile antico. He also wrote some Spanish songs in a newer style.

Salazar was born in a town called Tuesta, in Álava, Spain. He learned music and singing in the choir at the Burgos cathedral. Later, he became a "maestro de capilla," which means he was the music director at different cathedrals. He worked at Toro starting in 1661, then at El Burgo de Osma in 1663. Finally, in 1668, he became the music director at the Zamora Cathedral. He stayed there until he passed away in Zamora, Spain.
