Juan José Cabezudo (died 1860) was a well-known Peruvian chef and street-food seller. He worked in Lima, Peru, during the first half of the 19th century. People knew him for his delicious traditional Peruvian dishes.

We don't know much about Juan José Cabezudo's early life. He was of African descent. However, more details are known about his career and personality.

Cabezudo was a talented chef. He had a popular street-food stand in the Escribanos portal. This spot was very close to the Plaza Mayor, the main square in Lima. There, he served typical Peruvian dishes, including tasty tamales. He also had another food stand. This one was located at the exit of the Acho bullring.

Juan José Cabezudo's food stands were very famous in Lima at that time. He was quite successful with his business. When the important leader Simón Bolívar left Peru, Cabezudo was chosen to cook his farewell dinner.

According to the historian Ricardo Palma, Juan José Cabezudo passed away in Chorrillos in 1860. He did not have much money at the time of his death.
