Judith Holmes Clarke (born August 24, 1943 – died May 14, 2020) was a popular Australian writer. She wrote many best-selling short stories for children and teenagers.

Judith was born in Sydney, Australia, and grew up there. She worked as a teacher, a university lecturer, and a librarian. She studied at the University of New South Wales and Australian National University.

Judith Clarke passed away on May 14, 2020, in Melbourne.
