Glaser also helped start the Creating WE Institute. During her career, she worked with many well-known companies. These included Clairol, Citibank, Pfizer, Burberry, American Airlines, and Verizon. She wrote seven books, including popular ones like Creating WE and Conversational Intelligence. She also appeared on TV shows to share her ideas about leadership.

Early Life and Learning

Judith Glaser became interested in how people behave when she was very young. By age 11, she was reading medical books. She even started college when she was only 16 years old.

She earned her first degree from Temple University. Later, she studied at Drexel University, where she received a special research award. She also earned master's degrees from Harvard University and Fairfield University.

Glaser was certified in many ways to understand individuals and teams. She also created four of her own special tests. These included the C-IQ Assessment and the TRUST Assessment. In 2006, Temple University gave her the Gallery of Success Award.

Her Career

In 1980, Glaser started her own company, Benchmark Communications, Inc. This company helped businesses learn how to work better together and how to lead their teams. At first, it was called Judy Glaser & Associates.

Her company was hired to write a dictionary of business terms. While working on it, Glaser liked the word "benchmarking" a lot. So, in 1984, she changed her company's name to Benchmark Communications. As the leader of Benchmark, Glaser worked as a consultant and coach for many company CEOs and their teams. She helped them understand how people in organizations behave.

Her clients included big names like Pepsi, IBM, AT&T, and Pfizer. In 2016, Glaser launched a large online learning program called "Conversational Intelligence for Coaches." Over 32,000 professionals took part in this program.

Glaser was also a founding member of the Harvard Coaching Institute. She spent many years researching how people interact in the workplace. She taught as a professor at Wharton University. She was also a guest speaker at other universities like Harvard and Kellogg.

Glaser was a co-founder and chairman of the Creating WE Institute. This group studies how our brains help us work together. She also served on the boards of the We Are Family Foundation and Expeditionary Learning. In 2011, Drexel University honored her with the Distinguished Alumni Award.

Throughout her career, Glaser studied many different fields. These included human behavior, psychology, and how the brain works. She wrote seven books and was an editor for the Random House Handbook of Business Terms.

Judith Glaser passed away on November 18, 2018.
