Julee Rosso is an American cook and food writer. She is well-known for helping to change how people in America cooked and ate. In 1977, she and her friend Sheila Lukins opened a special food shop in New York City called The Silver Palate. They later wrote very popular cookbooks together, like The Silver Palate Cookbook. Many people say she "changed the way America eats."

Early Life and Career

Julee Rosso went to Michigan State University. She was a member of a group called Alpha Phi while she was there. For many years, from 1991 until 2021, Julee owned a cozy hotel called the Wickwood Inn. It was located in Saugatuck, Michigan.
