Francis Huntington, born on November 29, 1952, is an American retired professional wrestler. He is best known by his wrestling name, Jules Strongbow. He became famous for his time in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in the early 1980s. During this time, he won the WWF World Tag Team Championship twice. He won these titles with Chief Jay Strongbow, who was presented as his brother in wrestling stories.

Professional Wrestling Career

Early Days in Wrestling

Francis Huntington started his wrestling career in 1973. He wrestled under the name "Frank Hill" for different wrestling companies. One of these was the American Wrestling Association.

In late 1979, he teamed up with another wrestler named Wahoo McDaniel. They competed together in a big tag team tournament in Japan called the All Japan Pro Wrestling World's Strongest Tag Determination League.

Joining the WWF

In 1982, Huntington joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). This is where he got his famous name, "Jules Strongbow." He was paired with Chief Jay Strongbow, and they were presented as brothers. They became a very well-known tag team called the Strongbows.

On June 28, 1982, the Strongbows won their first WWF Tag Team Championship. They defeated the team of Mr. Fuji and Mr. Saito. However, they lost the titles back to Fuji and Saito a few weeks later, on July 13.

The Strongbows didn't give up! On October 26, they defeated Fuji and Saito again to win their second tag team championship. They held these titles until March 8, 1983. On that day, they lost to the Wild Samoans (Afa and Sika). Soon after losing the championship, Huntington left the WWF.

After the WWF

After leaving the WWF, Huntington continued to wrestle for many years. He competed in smaller wrestling companies, also known as the "independent circuit." Some of these included the National Wrestling Federation in Pennsylvania and the International Wrestling Alliance in Ohio. He also wrestled for a while in World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW). He officially retired from wrestling in 2001.

Life Outside the Ring

Unlike his wrestling partner, Chief Jay Strongbow, who was Italian-American, Francis Huntington is a real Native American. He is a member of the Oneida Nation, which is a Native American tribe in Wisconsin.

After he retired from professional wrestling, Huntington spent his time helping others. He volunteered with the Native American Students Association at Missouri State University.
