Julie St. Claire's Early Career
Julie St. Claire grew up in Geneva, New York. Her mother, Peggy Lambert, was a stage actress. Julie was one of four children.
First TV Appearances
Julie started acting in 1982. Her first role was on the NBC show Silver Spoons. She played Ricky Schroder's girlfriend. This led to many other guest roles and movie parts. One of her early films was Sid & Nancy in 1986.
Awards and Recognition
In 1983, Julie received an award. The Southern California Motion Picture Council gave her the Bronze Halo. This award was for "Best Up & Coming Young Actress." She was also nominated for a Young Artist Award.
Major TV Roles
Julie's first regular TV role was on Personal & Confidential. After high school, she studied acting. She attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena. She even received a scholarship for her studies.
In 1990, she starred as Tawny Richards. This was on the popular soap opera Santa Barbara. In 1987, she was nominated for another award. It was for her "Exceptional Performance" on The Judge.

After her time on Santa Barbara, Julie continued acting. She appeared in many more films and TV shows.
Notable Roles
Julie St. Claire played Maria in A.J.'s Time Travelers on UPN. She also portrayed Marla Antoni on the show Lincoln Heights.
Personal Life
Julie St. Claire lives in California. She is married to actor Patrick R. Smith. They have a son together. Julie is also part of the Hollywood Knights celebrity basketball team hall of fame. She has sometimes been known as "Julie Capone."
