About Julie Stewart's Life
Julie Stewart was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. She studied acting at the National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal, Quebec. Today, she lives in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, with her husband, Jamie Stanley. Jamie is a music and sound producer.
Julie is also a big fan of sailing. She even competes in Albacore boat races. Her love for sailing was shown in a 2019 film called We Are Sailor People.
Julie Stewart's Acting Career
Julie Stewart started her acting journey at the Thousand Islands Playhouse in 1983. Her first TV role was in the CBC miniseries Chasing Rainbows. She played a character named Paula Ashley.
She has had important roles in other TV shows too. These include Rosemary Fletcher in North of 60 and Terri Knight-Kessler in The Border. In movies, she played Florence in Snow Cake (2006) and Ruth in Still Mine (2012).
