About Julie Stewart
Julie Stewart was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. She studied acting at the National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal, Quebec. Today, she is married to Jamie Stanley, who works with music and sound. They live in Shelburne, Nova Scotia.
Julie is also a big fan of sailing and even races boats! She competes in Albacore boat races. Her experiences as a sailor were shown in a 2019 movie called We Are Sailor People.

Julie Stewart started her acting journey in 1983 at the Thousand Islands Playhouse. Her first TV role was in the CBC miniseries Chasing Rainbows. She has also had important roles in other TV shows like North of 60 and The Border.
