His Early Life
Julien Lepers was born in Paris. His father, Raymond Lepers, was a conductor. His mother, Maria Rémusat, was a singer. His grandfather, Claude Rémusat, was a painter.
Julien spent his childhood in Antibes and later in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges. He studied law at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. He earned a degree in law.
His Career as a Host
Julien Lepers started his career in radio. He won a contest at the radio station RMC. He worked there as a radio host from 1973 to 1978. He was known as Mister Hit parade. After that, he moved to RTL.
In the 1980s, Lepers hosted a show called À tout cœur. This entertainment program was on the Swiss TV channel TSR. It featured many famous singers.
He began hosting TV shows in France in 1986. He was 36 years old. His first shows were La Nouvelle Affiche on FR3 and Télématin on Antenne 2.
From November 1988 to February 2016, Lepers hosted Questions pour un champion. This was the French version of the game show Going for Gold. He also hosted C'est l'été on France 3 in August 1998.

Julien Lepers recorded four songs in 1978 and 1979. These songs included "De retour de vacances" and "Je t'aime trop".
He is a self-taught pianist and loves music. He wrote three hit songs for the French singer Herbert Léonard. These hits were "Pour le plaisir" (1981), "Amoureux fous" (1983), and "Flagrant délit" (1985). "Flagrant délit" even became a number-one hit in Quebec.
