The Story of Junius
Junius has an interesting past. It was first planned out in 1878. Back then, it had a different name. It was called Midway.
The name Midway made sense. It was likely in the middle of something important. Later, the community got its current name, Junius. This name honors a special person. Junius was the son of a railroad official.
A post office opened in Junius in 1904. This office helped people send and receive mail. It stayed open for many years. The post office finally closed its doors in 1957.
