Just Plain Mark and Zippy were two super popular DJs on Radio Disney. They hosted a fun show every weekday afternoon. Their show started at 4:00 PM ET and lasted until 8:00 PM ET.
Mark, whose real name was Mark Sutherland, and Zippy, whose real name was Gary Wallace, broadcast their show from a special place. They were live from Tomorrowland at Disneyland! Both DJs joined Radio Disney in 1997 and retired in 2001.
Beyond the Radio Show
Mark and Zippy weren't just radio hosts; they also formed a music group! Their group was called I-8-Paste. They released two songs that became quite famous among Radio Disney fans.
